46: Ashley Thompson, Cofounder of Mush Overnight Oats (@mush)
On this episode I sit down with Ashley Thompson, as she explains her journey to founding the overnight oats company Mush. From Mush’s distribution channels to the importance of its ingredients, Ashley details the organic growth the company has experienced and its future business plans. Ashley also shares some of the principles she lives by, views on competition, and tendencies of her impulsive nature.

First thing you do in the morning? Very first thing in the morning - glass of water, 10 air squats, 1 or 2 deep breaths (depending on what's on tap for the day).
What advice would you give your younger self? Don't be so hard on yourself- it has diminishing returns after a certain point.
Wellness trend you love and wellness trend you wish would end? Love whole food ingredients. Dislike keto.
First Job? 'Good kid'. I was a very dutiful daughter and took it seriously. Thereafter, I mucked out stalls in exchange for free horseback riding lessons. Then I was a nanny in NYC during college.
Proudest moment? Proud is not really in my vocabulary. I'm excited about my level of self-awareness. Knowing how to belong to oneself is the greatest feeling in the world.

Favorite ice cream flavor? Chocolate errthang!
Current go-to workout? Shredmill- high intensity intervals on the treadmill. Short but effective.
Stay up late or wake up early? I flip flop. I've been staying up later recently. Would much prefer to wake up early.
